The Alleghany Planning Committee (A low-income project planning committee) a supportive arm of Blue Ridge Opportunity Commission, Inc. locally raised funds from the following fundraising events:

  • Hillbilly Comedy and Variety Show
  • Auctions

The Committee assists:

  • In Emergency Fuel and Electric
  • BROC Head Start Gap Civil “lending library”
  • Scholarships
