	Duke Energy’s Weatherization Program was designed to help agencies do more for their income qualified clients by rebating part of the weatherization costs back to the agency. While this helps to keep costs low, we are then able to stretch our regular contracted funds for those who are not Duke Energy customers. DEC Weatherization Measures may include: Weather-stripping Sealing Ducts Air Sealing throughout the home LED bulbs Refrigerator Replacement HVAC Replacement Who is Eligible for Duke Energy’s Weatherization Rebate Program? Applicants must be Duke Energy customers and income must be at or below the 200% DHHS Poverty Guidelines To Apply please bring the following documents: Proof of Income for all household members Photo ID Social Security Cards for all household members Proof of Ownership on the home Landlord Agreement (If Applicable) Power Bills Blue Cross Blue Shield Healthy Home Initiative Blue Cross Blue Shield teamed up with NCCAA to bring agencies the Healthy Home Initiative (HHI) program. As we spend a significant amount of time in our homes, this program focuses on the importance of having a safe and healthy home to live in. HHI Measures may include (but not limited to): Replacement of carpet with hard surface flooring Interior Pest Control General cleaning of home, including debris removal Interior Ventilation issues Air purification Carbon Monoxide and smoke detectors (including battery change-out) Handicap accessibility / fall prevention Moisture control Duct Cleaning Filter change out, plus one-year replacement Who is eligible for BCBS’ HHI Program?
